MVP: Mark Lyons, a transfer from Xavier, led the Wildcats to the Sweet 16 with an impressive effort. He finished with 27 points (12-for-17), three assists and a steal.
X factor: Harvard started 2-for-22 from the field. The Crimson didn't record their first field goal until the 12:17 mark.
That was another statement: The Pac-12 was underrated according to perception and seeding. Arizona's lopsided win over Harvard was just more proof that the league's teams were not properly assessed entering the tournament.
Harvard shot 25.0 percent (6-24) outside the paint Saturday. The Crimson shot 50.0 percent (12-24) outside the paint in its second-round win against New Mexico. Laurent Rivard and Christian Webster were a combined 9-for-15 outside the paint on Thursday, but 3-for-14 Saturday.[+]

Mark Lyons tied a career high with 27 points in Arizona's 74-51 win Saturday, including 16 points on 8-for-8 shooting in the paint. In seven Men's Basketball Championship games with Xavier, Lyons never shot better than 50 percent in the paint. In two tournament games this season, Lyons is shooting 81.3 percent in the paint.[+]
