JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Chris Davenport had 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists on Monday night and North Florida cruised to an easy win over North Florida 90-68.
North Florida (5-4) never trailed and led 40-30 at half. The Ospreys went ahead 69-48 on a 16-6 run punctuated by one of Davenport's dunks with 9:19 left in the game.
Travis Wallace shot 9 of 12 to lead North Florida with 20 points. Sean Brennan had 12 points and Dallas Moore had 11. North Florida was 56.1 percent from the floor and had 17 assists compared to Edward Waters which had only three.
Antonio Valiente had 23 points and Odayne Clarke had 21 points for Edward Waters. Dylan Watts had nine rebounds.
The Ospreys won their 5th straight over Edward Waters and took a 13-3 lead in the all-time series between the programs.
