BANGOR, Maine -- Kyle Wilson scored 24 points to help Army beat Maine 90-80 on Friday night.
Maine shot 51 percent from the field in the first half and only trailed Army 46-44 at the break. The Black Knights used a 19-6 run in the first six minutes of the second half to take a 15 point lead 65-50.
Army outrebounded Maine by only four rebounds 37-33, but 14 of those were offensive rebounds as Army scored 25 second-chance points compared to four for the Black Bears.
Maine cut the lead to 83-75 with 1:41 left, but Army made 9 of 10 free throws to ice the game.
