ALBANY, N.Y. -- Murphy Burnatowski scored 19 points to pace Colgate over Albany 69-60 on Saturday.
Colgate scored the first 10 points of the game, but Albany immediately went on a 12-0 run to erase that lead. The Great Danes led at half 36-34 after Johnson's emphatic dunk with 27 seconds before intermission.
After Johnson made one of a pair of free throws at 16:04 of the second half, Albany led by four at 41-37. But Burnatowski made three treys in the second half -- the first broke a 41-all tie and the last stretched Colgate's lead to six with 4:27 remaining.
