ARLINGTON, Texas -- Brandon Edwards scored eight of his 23 points in overtime as Texas-Arlington topped Cal State Bakersfield 79-75 Saturday.
Following a layup with 5 seconds to play in overtime, on which he was fouled by Lonnie McLanahan, Erik Kinney went to the charity stripe with UCSB (6-7) trailing 77-75. Kinney led the Roadrunners with 20 points, nine rebounds and Brandon Barnes added 18 points while knocking down 5 of 6 3-point shots.
