SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Jarmar Gulley scored a career high 23 points and Christian Kirk added a career high 21 more as undefeated Missouri State rolled to an 81-67 win over Hampton in the Corpus Christi Challenge on Sunday.
Missouri State (4-0) trailed by a basket with 6:51 remaining in the first half, but tied it up at 25 with a Ron Mvouika layup and took the lead on a jumper by Gulley that ignited a 17-6 run. The Bears took a 42-31 advantage into the break and extended the gap in the second half.
Missouri State shot 52.5 percent from the field, emptying its bench to give playing time to its entire roster and getting points from nine different players.
