STANFORD, Calif. -- Chasson Randle scored 17 of his 21 points in the first half and Stanford routed South Dakota State, 92-60, on Sunday as part of the Progressive Legends Classic.

Anthony Brown added 19 points and Josh Huestis scored 13 for the Cardinal (6-2), who won their fifth in six games. Stefan Nastic had 10 points.

Jordan Dykstra scored 20 points to lead the Jackrabbits (3-6), who lost their second straight. Brayden Carlson added 16.

Stanford and South Dakota State played their second-round game of the Stanford Regional although the Legends Classic title was determined Tuesday in Brooklyn, with Pittsburgh beating the Cardinal, 88-67.

The Jackrabbits won their sub-regional with wins over Howard and Lehigh in Brookings, S.D.

The Cardinal scored the game's first 13 points and never trailed, building a 58-24 advantage by halftime.

Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins, a former all-American guard out of Duke, won his 100th career game as coach. He's 100-76 overall in six years, all at Stanford.

Stanford converted 11 of its first 15 shots and shot 67 percent in the first half. Brown and Randle, who was 3 of 5 from long range, combined to shoot 14 of 21 (67 percent) from the field and the starters were a combined 27 of 41.

The Cardinal eventually led by as many as 39 points in the second half en route to a season high in field goal percentage at just under 60 percent.

Stanford held a 30-8 edge in points in the paint, outscored the Jackrabbits 21-6 in points off turnovers and 8-2 on fast break points before Dawkins began substituting liberally the rest of the way.

South Dakota State is 55-24 since the beginning of the 2011-12 season, reaching the NCAA tournament last season.

The Jackrabbits fell to 0-11 in the state of California as a Division I team, including 0-4 this year.
