Marist trailed by 10 or more points for the majority of the game. They were able to cut it to eight with 10 minutes left, but Iona then made four unanswered 3-pointers in a row to take a 20 point lead 69-49. Marist couldn't cut the lead to single-digits the rest of the game.
Iona went 17 of 30 from 3-point range -- one off the school record -- and held the Red Foxes to 5 of 17 from 3.
