DAVIS, Calif. -- Furman launched an 8-0 run after halftime to break open a one-point game and hold on for a 75-65 win against UC Davis Monday night.
Aside from a Georgi Funtarov jumper at 18:20 of the second half, the Aggies (4-10) did not score for more than six minutes. UC Davis trailed 44-32 after Croone scored, was fouled and converted a three-point play at 11:24.
Corey Hawkins led the Aggies with 17 points.
Though only outrebounding UC Davis 34-30, Furman outscored the Aggies 42-22 in the paint.
