CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Chris Horton scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Austin Peay to an 80-74 Ohio Valley Conference victory over Southeast Missouri State Saturday night.
The Redhawks (8-7, 0-2) held a 38-33 advantage at the half. They held a lead until Williams hit a 3-point jump shot with 13:13 remaining to tie the game at 48. Travis Betran hit two 3-pointers in a row to give Austin Peay a 57-52 lead with 11:30 left. The Governors scored 15 unanswered points to lead 65-52 at the 7:59 mark. A Jarekious Bradley 3-point shot closed the gap to 72-68 with 3:08 remaining, but the Redhawks could get no closer.
Bradley had a career-high 30 points for the Redhawks.
