TULSA, Okla. -- Shawn Glover scored 15 points and took part in an early flurry of shots that boosted Oral Roberts past Division II Cameron 74-64 on Tuesday night.
Cameron's William Cook scored first, but Oral Roberts (5-3) had six different players respond with baskets and the Golden Eagles led 15-5 less than five minutes into the game. The lead was never in doubt after that even though neither team had a good shooting night.
Aside from Glover, Jorden Kaufman added a career-best 11 points with eight rebounds, Korey Billbury had 11 points and Drew Wilson a double-double (his first at ORU and second career) with 10 points and 10 boards. Oral Roberts shot 42.9 percent (30-for-70).
The Golden Eagles held a 47-37 rebounding edge.
