ATLANTA -- Marcel Mosley hit two free throws to put the game on ice with 13 seconds left on Sunday as Arkansas-Pine Bluff edged Tuskegee 66-64 in the HBCU Tip-Off Challenge at Morehouse College.
Mosley had 12 points, four steals and three assists in the season opener for the Golden Lions. Davon Haynes was 4 of 5 from behind the arc with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Neither team gained much of an advantage during the first half until UAPB surged in the final minutes to lead at the break 37-30.
The UAPB led 43-33 with 17:33 remaining before Golden Tigers fought back to go ahead 47-46. UAPB answered with a 3-pointer to take the lead for good.
Elliot Dean had 17 point and Richard Dixon had 14 for the Tuskegee.
