FRESNO, Calif. -- Tyler Johnson scored 19 points to lead Fresno State to a dominating 92-59 victory over San Diego Christian Monday night.
Fresno State (4-2) had six players in double figures. Marvelle Harris had 17, Allen Huddleston came off the bench to add 15, Cezar Guerrero contributed 11 and Paul Watson and Karachi Edo each had 10 points.
San Diego Christian (1-3) was scoreless, trailing 6-0, until Trevor English made a layup at the 16:02 mark. The Hawks did not score again until 9:34 remained in the initial period. Meanwhile Fresno State reeled off 13 straight points. The Bulldogs were ahead 44-20 at the half.
Fresno State made 22 of 27 free throws while the Hawks were only 7-of-11 from the charity stripe.
Rafael Rodriquez led San Diego Christian with 13 points.
