DAYTON, Ohio -- AJ Pacher hit five of six shots, including a game-opening 3-pointer, as Wright State got out early on Western Carolina and won 85-77.

Pacher scored 18 points with eight rebounds and Reggie Arceneaux scored 12 points for the Raiders. JT Yoho and Kendall Griffin had 11 each and Cole Darling added 10.

The Raiders (5-3) built double-digit leads midway in the first half but Western Carolina (5-5) rallied to within four several times after intermission. Inside the final 50 seconds, the Catamounts launched an 8-1 run with 3-pointers from Trey Sumler and Tom Tankelwicz and a Brandon Boggs layup and closed to within five, 82-77.

Arceneaux and Jerran Young made three free throws in the final 22 seconds to seal the win.

Sumler finished with 15 points for the Catamounts, as did Tankelwicz, and Boggs scored 13 and made three steals.
