BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jarryn Skeete scored nine of his season-high 19 points in the final six minutes to lead Buffalo to a 76-66 victory Saturday over Eastern Michigan.
Skeete's three-point play gave Buffalo (8-4, 2-0 Mid-American) its first lead of the second half, 56-55 with 5:26 to play. Mike Talley made one of two from the line for Eastern Michigan to tie the game at 56. Skeete answered with a 3-pointer, fueling a 20-10 run by the Bulls to cap the scoring.
Purdue coach Matt Painter says players haven't used the fifth-year graduate transfer rule for its true intent.
The dust has settled after players made their NBA draft decisions. Which college teams won? Which lost? Well, Villanova is pretty happy. USC, meanwhile, might not be as thrilled.
The 2017 recruiting class is short on point guards, with Trevon Duval leading only eight prospects from the ESPN 60 who are still available.
