PHILADELPHIA -- John Robertson passed for one touchdown and ran for another as Villanova defeated Pennsylvania 24-8 Saturday, its 12th consecutive victory over the Quakers.
Villanova (3-1) led 10-0 at halftime, and Robertson's 26-yard run on third-and-4 with 5:43 left in the third quarter made it 17-0.
Kevin Monangai rushed for 109 yards on 17 carries for the Wildcats, including a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Villanova rushed for 225 yards and has surpassed 200 in all its games this season.
