BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Antonio Andrews ran for 230 yards, including the game-winning 21-yard touchdown, as Western Kentucky beat North Texas 25-24 Saturday.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Hilltoppers (7-5, 4-4 Sun Belt Conference) and clinched their second straight winning season.
Andrews set up the winning touchdown with a 53-yard run. Two plays later, the junior ran right, broke two tackles and scored with 3:30 to play.
The Hilltoppers, who rallied from a 24-10 deficit, stopped North Texas on fourth-and-3 at the Mean Green's 35 on their next possession, sealing the win.
Western Kentucky will now wait to learn its bowl fate.
North Texas (4-8, 3-5), which moves to Conference USA next season, finished with its eighth straight losing record.
