Mikal Abdul-Saboor had 111 yards and one touchdown, Keith McBride II added 63 and William & Mary (1-1) combined to run for 277 yards on 47 carries. Michael Graham was 9 of 21 for 106 yards for the Tribe.
Coming off a narrow loss to West Virginia last week, William & Mary dominated from the start, pilling up 232 yards of total offense in the first half, compared to 46 for Hampton.
Hampton is 0-4 all-time against the Tribe. The teams have not met since 2004.
