BALTIMORE -- Seth Higgins threw for one touchdown and rushed for another as Morgan State broke a five-game losing streak with a 34-21 defeat of Florida A&M in a Mid-Eastern Conference battle on Saturday.
Higgins was 12 of 20 for 144 yards. He also led Morgan State (1-5, 1-1) in rushing with 102 yards on 17 carries and scored the first TD of the day on a 2-yard run. A 24-yard touchdown run by Lamont Brown put the Bears up 14-7 at the end of the first quarter and they held the lead throughout the rest of the game.
