BERKELEY, Calif. -- Afure Jemerigbe scored 15 points, and Gennifer Brandon added 14 points and 14 rebounds as No. 12 California defeated Saint Mary's 89-41 on Thursday night.
Talia Caldwell also scored 14 for the Golden Bears (2-0), Brittany Boyd had 13, Layshia Clarendon 12 and Reshanda Gray 11. Cal shot 56 percent from the field and outrebounded St. Mary's 43-27.

Saint Mary's shot just 31 percent from the floor, made one of 11 3-pointers and was 10-of-20 from the free throw line while committing 24 turnovers.
