DAYTON, Ohio -- Cassie Sant scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting and No. 23 Dayton beat Akron 94-80 on Friday night for its 14th straight home victory.
Amber Deane added 23 points for Dayton (2-1) and Ally Malott had 16 points and 10 assists.
Hanna Luburgh had 37 points for Akron (2-1). She was 13 of 21 from the field and made 8 of 9 free throws. Rachel Tecca added 25 points.
