CB Josh Norman is the first Panthers player with two interceptions returned for touchdowns in the first four weeks of a season. He is the only player in the NFL to do so in the past five seasons.

Panthers extend lead on Bucs with pick-6

Josh Norman's second pick-6 of the year has given the Panthers a 10-0 lead over the Bucs. It's Jameis Winston's second interception returned for a TD this year, each time coming on his first attempt of the game. It also happened in the season-opener against the Titans. Follow live

The last time Jeremy Hill attempted a carry inside Paul Brown Stadium before Sunday, he fumbled, leading to a second-half benching two weeks ago. On his first drive this week, Hill rushed three times for 13 yards. He capped the series by running through a defender for an 8-yard TD run.

Panthers CB Josh Norman follows NFC Player of the Month performance with a pick 6. Then he gets his second penalty of the year for unsportsmanlike conduct following a touchdown by using the football for his giddy-up horse routine. Norman was fined for waving to Jacksonville QB Jake Bortles during return for TD in the opener.

Bill Belichick just concluded an afternoon conference call as the Patriots are on the bye week. The two biggest takeaways: 1) He called DL Akiem Hicks, acquired from New Orleans in a trade, a big, physical player who the team felt like did good things in August's joint practice. That extended look at Hicks in practice helped in making the trade; 2) Belichick said the team wasn't looking to trade TE Michael Hoomanawanui, but to get something (Hicks), they had to give something up.

The Redskins third-down success keyed their first scoring drive and a big reason for that was RB Chris Thompson. The Redskins love his quickness and sure enough it mattered on two third downs. Also, the Redskins keep testing the Eagles with runs at or outside the tackle. It's where they've tested them in the past too.

The Texans went heavy on Arian Foster to start Sunday's game in Atlanta. He caught a 15-yard pass from Ryan Mallett on the Texans first offensive play. He ran the ball twice. On third down, Mallett threw a pass that bounced off DeAndre Hopkins, who was trying to wrestle away from a Falcons defender, and was intercepted.

Jay Cutler moved well on the Bears' opening drive, avoiding Oakland's pass-rush on multiple occasions. Cutler's ability to keep plays alive allowed him to connect with Martellus Bennett and Marquess Wilson for size able gains.

JETS 27, DOLPHINS 14 (final): It wasn't pretty, but the Jets dominated for three quarters. Chris Ivory was brilliant and the defense blitzed relentlessly. The Jets (3-1) should be happy, but not satisfied. They committed far too many penalties and their passing game was shaky. But this was vintage Todd Bowles game -- blue collar.

Bucs turn ball over right away

The Bucs' first drive ended with a lost fumble on the second play of the day. That was their 20th straight game with a turnover, the longest active streak in the league. That led to a Panthers field goal and an early 3-0 lead. Follow live

Bucs make first mistake, fumbled snap. Panthers capitalize with a 24-yard field goal for 3-0 lead. But after having first and goal at the 7 it almost feels like a squandered opportunity.
