Rams-Seahawks Preview
| SCOUTING REPORT |
Winless Rams hope Bulger's returns sparks offenseAfter being beaten soundly by the Ravens from the opening kick to the final whistle, the Rams fell to 0-6, their worst start in franchise history. This team has more than its share of problems on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile, the Seahawks got drubbed two weeks ago in Pittsburgh and didn't look much better at home against the Saints on Sunday night, making some curious play-calling decisions late in the game. Obviously these teams are very familiar with one another, but the Seahawks have a major home-field advantage. Quest Field is a difficult place to play -- especially for a team with replacement offensive tackles. |

SEATTLE (AP) -- St. Louis wide receiver Drew Bennett became the latest offensive player to miss a game for the winless when he was inactive for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Bennett, the Rams' third wide receiver, was listed as questionable after leaving last week's game at Baltimore in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. The Rams then signed Travis Taylor, a No. 1 draft pick of Baltimore in 2000, for receiver depth behind Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce. Taylor was in uniform Sunday while Bruce (hamstring) returned for the first time in three games. Holt was playing with a sore knee.
Steven Jackson, St. Louis' lead rusher, was inactive for the fourth consecutive game because of a partially torn groin. Wide receiver-kick returner Dante Hall was sidelined with an ankle injury.
St. Louis had 22 different starters on offense this season entering Sunday.
Seattle starting tight end Marcus Pollard missed his first game of the season. His right knee has been bothering him for weeks. Will Heller was expected to start for him.
As expected, the Seahawks were also missing starting receivers D.J. Hackett (high ankle sprain) and Deion Branch (sprained foot). Seattle expects to have both back Nov. 4 for the game at Cleveland, after its bye week.
