News: Freeney (ankle) had a tackle and a sack in Sunday's loss to the Saints in the Super Bowl.
Spin: Freeney ended up being slowed by an ankle injury that had his availability for the big game in question heading into the weekend. Though he only had 24 tackles in 14 games during the regular season, he continued to find ways to get the the QB, racking up a total of 13.5 sacks.
