2015 NFL Power Rankings: Week 5

Updated: October 6, 2015, 3:22 PM ET

Week 4 saw a handful of teams pull off impressive road wins. Is our hierarchy turned upside down as a result?

Not exactly, but we did see some interesting developments. ESPN's Power Panel gave the most significant boost to the Rams, who surged from No. 19 to No. 11 after upsetting the previously unbeaten Cardinals. The Giants continued their upswing by beating the Bills, but the convincing victory wasn't a launching pad, as the Giants gained only one spot, moving to No. 15. The Ravens, thanks to an overtime win over the rival Steelers on Thursday night, clawed their way back into the top 20 (No. 19, a three-spot improvement).

Are more positive moves in these teams' futures? St. Louis has the best chance to rise, as Todd Gurley & Co. travel to No. 2 Green Bay this weekend. A Rams victory at Lambeau Field (where the Packers haven't lost since Week 13 of 2013) looks like a long shot, but so was the prospect of winning at Arizona in Week 4.

St. Louis passed that test. Now it will try to spring a second upset, with a top-10 spot the likely reward.
