Scouts Buzz
The Packers dominated this matchup on both sides of the ball. The Packers have found an effective ground attack, and Ryan Grant showed excellent vision and burst to pierce the previously stingy Vikings run defense. The Green Bay offensive line held its blocks well in man-blocking schemes and used a good mix of shovel passes to keep the Minnesota front four off-balance. Packers quarterback Brett Favre had his way versus the marginal Vikings pass defense and distributed the ball well to several different targets. On defense, Green Bay did a good job of forcing Minnesota into third-and-long situations it could not convert.
