49ers dominate the ball, but Pennington, Dolphins continue to surge
MIAMI -- Joey Porter yanked off his helmet and gave it a jubilant fling, done with it for the day. With that, the Miami Dolphins' latest victory celebration was under way.
Fast Facts
• The Dolphins haven't allowed a touchdown in their last three games.
• Joey Haynos' touchdown catch was his first reception since Week 4 of the preseason.
• The 49ers lost despite having the ball for 38:13 and allowing only 11 first downs. They were held to a season-low nine points.
• The Dolphins had zero turnovers in their win over the 49ers. With just 10 turnovers lost this season, they have the fewest turnovers through a team's first 14 games in NFL history. The 2007 Patriots had 11 turnovers through 14 games.
