• The Giants snapped a four-game skid in Seattle for their first win there since Oct. 18, 1981.
• New York held a 35-0 lead at halftime, marking the first time the Giants have scored 35 points in the first half of a game since Dec. 8, 1985.
• The Giants have now scored 40 or more points in consecutive road games for the first time since 1966.

The Giants 34-point win over the Seahawks is tied for their largest road win since the merger and tied for the 5th-largest in team history.[+]
This is the 6th time the Giants have scored 35 points in the first half of a game and the first time since a 35-14 lead at Houston on December 8, 1985. This is the 2nd-largest first half shutout for the Giants. The largest was a 38-0 lead on November 29, 1959 vs the Redskins.
Charlie Whitehurst is expected to make his first NFL start Sunday for the Seahawks against the Giants. Whitehurst has been in the NFL since getting drafted in 2006, but has yet to throw a pass in a regular-season game. Since 2006, 81 non-QBs have thrown at least one pass in the NFL. The most attempts by a non-QB since 2006 is 11 by Josh Cribbs and Ronnie Brown.
