Research Notes
NEXT LEVEL: Chris Johnson's struggles continued on Sunday as he rushed for just 34 yards on 14 carries, all of which came with the Colts putting seven or fewer defenders in the box. Coming into Sunday's game, the Colts' run defense had given up 4.8 yards per rush with seven or fewer players in the box. |
Rob Bironas had a pair of field goals from 50+ yards in the first half for the Titans. That matches the total number of 50+ yard field goals he made last season (these were his first two of 2011). Two kickers have made three 50+ FG in a game this season- Sebastian Janikowski and Josh Scobee. |
