Research Notes
Andrew Luck's QBR of 18.4 is the lowest this season for a QB in a win (min. 40 action plays). It's tied for the 6th-lowest in the last 5 seasons in a win (min. 40 action plays). It's also the lowest of Luck's career in any game.
Vick Ballard posted career highs with 94 rush yards, six first downs and 34 yards after contact in Sunday's win against the Titans. Ballard had four rushes of at least 10 yards, all in the second half. Entering Sunday, Ballard hadn't posted more than three of those runs in a game this season.
After Jake Locker faced extra pressure on only five of his 22 first-half dropbacks, the Colts sent extra pressure on 10 of Locker's 17 dropbacks in the second half. Tennessee's inability to move the ball opened the door for Andrew Luck's sixth game-winning drive of the season in the fourth quarter or overtime, a rookie record since the merger. Locker entered Sunday with a 47.9 completion percentage against extra rushers, the worst percentage of 34 qualified quarterbacks. [+]Jake Locker Passing vs 5+ Rushers, Sunday vs Colts
