Jets coach Todd Bowles couldn't give a definitive answer on whether Darrelle Revis (wrist surgery) will be ready for training camp. "I can't completely answer that, but I hope he will," Bowles said. Revis, sitting out OTAs, had surgery in March.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said he will have more X-rays on his right foot in the near future and hopes to do more as the offseason goes on. He said he needs to be patient in his recovery but he feels great. He went through the early part of OTAs Wednesday, catching a few passes before heading in for some rehab.

We will see if veteran pass rusher Dwight Freeney makes it to Atlanta after visiting with Bengals. ESPN's Jim Trotter reported Freeney expects to visit Atlanta.

Redskins corner Josh Norman said there are similarities between the defense he ran in Carolina and what Washington does. But, he said, the "footwork is still the same." And, Norman said, the Redskins give their corners a little more freedom on the outside compared to the disciplined structure of Carolina.

Steelers DE Cam Heyward said nose tackle Dan McCullers needs to 'play humongous' all season. McCullers has showed glimpses of his raw strength but has not been a consistent option for Pittsburgh. The Steelers lost nose tackle Steve McLendon to free agency.

Jets coach Todd Bowles said he's "hopeful" that QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will be signed by training camp. But he wouldn't go so far as to say he's confident. He said he doesn't ask GM Mike Maccagnan for updates on the negotiations. "Just tell me when it's done," Bowles said.
