Pierce: I would never run away from a rookie

Mark Schlereth and Antonio Pierce have no issues with Terrell Owens calling Sam Bradford a coward for wanting to be traded after the Eagles drafted Carson Wentz.

Good news: German WR Moritz Boehringer made it through his first NFL practice today. Bad news: He lost his lunch, breakfast and last night's dinner during a long detour to the sideline. I'll spare you the photos. To be fair, temps soared to 91 degrees in Minnesota today.

I can report that Pete Carroll has decided against switching from his old-school Nikes. Perhaps in an offseason of change, this would have just been too much to handle.

One undrafted rookie to keep an eye on is Cal tight end Stephen Anderson. Made several impressive catches today during day one of rookie minicamp. Seemed to have very sure hands. Tight end is a position where the Texans wanted to improve but couldn't make it happen in the draft.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

The Seahawks have signed nine of their 10 draft picks. The only exception is seventh-round pick Zac Brooks. The team also announced 13 undrafted free-agent signings, including QB Trevone Boykin.
