Marshawn Lynch to miss 2nd straight game

A hamstring injury will keep the Seahawks' star RB out of Sunday's game against the Bengals. Lynch also missed Monday night's game against the Lions.

The NFL has fined Bills DE Jerry Hughes for $23,152 for abusive language towards a game official and an additional $8,681 for head-butting a Giants player after a play in the Bills' 24-10 loss last Sunday.

The Packers have listed S Sean Richardson as out for Sunday's game vs. the Rams. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel just reported that his neck injury is potentially season-ending, if not career-ending.

Saints RB Khiry Robinson was fined $8,681 for his touchdown celebration, using the ball as a prop vs. Cowboys.

Veteran CB Tarell Brown is expected to be ready for normal duty for the Patriots on Sunday vs. the Cowboys. After being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of his foot, he was a full participant Friday and is listed as probable on the injury report. Brown opened 2015 as the starter opposite Malcolm Butler.

Panthers cornerback Josh Norman was fined $8,631 by the NFL for using the football as a prop while celebrating his interception returned for a touchdown against Tampa Bay. Norman said he was told before the game by league appeals officer Derrick Brooks the celebration would be legal. But the Panthers were penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct and now Norman has been fined. Wonder if he will appeal? At least Norman was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Brian Hoyer will be the team's starter for Jacksonville. Asked if Hoyer could be the starter for the season, O'Brien said he is looking at this as a series of one-game seasons. Hoyer entered the game in the second quarter and threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns.

Rams DE Robert Quinn missed Friday's practice but with good reason: he and his wife added a baby girl to the family. Jeff Fisher said he told Quinn that was "more important than what we were doing." Quinn will play Sunday in Green Bay.

Nothing really happened today that gave me any alarm. But I’ve still got to work tomorrow, and we’ll see how it goes from there.”

"There are several women in my life who have been affected by breast cancer, and my wife being a woman's pathologist, she diagnoses breast cancer every day. It sure looks like Armstead won't play Sunday at Philadelphia after missing practice all week, though it's not official yet. First-round pick Andrus Peat will replace him if needed. ... G Tim Lelito was back in practice Friday after missing Thursday.

LeSean McCoy says he's out 3-4 weeks

McCoy has a grade 2 hamstring pull, which will force him to miss 3 to 4 weeks, the Bills RB said today. This offseason, Buffalo traded LB Kiko Alonso for McCoy, who has 146 rushing yards and zero TDs.
