It'll be interesting to see what happens over the next two days with the Idzik 12 -- the 2014 draft class of former Jets GM John Idzik. It was supposed to be a watershed draft for the Jets, but there's a good chance only four will be on the 53 -- Calvin Pryor (1st round), Dex McDougle (3rd), Quincy Enunwa (6th) and Trevor Reilly (7th). That's a lot of swinging and missing.

Giants make two moves at punter

First, New York cut Steve Weatherford, the team's punter for the past four years, including Super Bowl XLVI. Second, the Giants swapped a conditional seventh round pick for Steelers punter Brad Wing.

Bills cut LB Ikemefuna Enemkpali

The Bills parted ways with the linebacker, whom they signed last month after the Jets released him for punching Geno Smith in the face, breaking his jaw.

Watching Marcus Mariota's TD pass vs. Vikings. Head movement indicated he looked to Antonio Andrews right, back to Delanie Walker left, then to Harry Douglas crossing right. Very good, patient execution.

Belichick briefly addresses Brady ruling

When asked about Tom Brady rejoining the Patriots, coach Bill Belichick had a simple answer: "He never left." Brady will be available for the first four games as a result of having his suspension overturned. Said Belichick when asked if that affects his game plans: "We'll do the best that we can to have the best plan [and] best preparation for Pittsburgh."

Patriots had plans to raise Brady banner

If Tom Brady's suspension was not overturned before Thursday's Patriots-Giants game, New England would have unveiled a Brady banner at Gillette Stadium rather than the franchise's Super Bowl banner, team president Jonathan Kraft told 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Care to try a carrier pigeon?

The Bengals have to get down to their 53-man roster limit by 4 p.m. ET Saturday. If they plan to cut LB Chris Carter, well, a call to let him know won't do the trick -- he plans to turn off his phone. "If you're going to cut me, you have to come find me," he says. A life-changing weekend

Tom Brady Sr. 'elated' over judge's ruling

"We're just glad that somebody saw the case for what it is, and that the Kangaroo Court is no longer in session," he told the Boston Globe. "It's rather ironic that they rushed to judgment to get it to New York only to find that in New York, justice is the same as it is in Minnesota, as it is elsewhere."
