TE Jordan Reed is one of the top matchup weapons in the NFL. Smooth route runner, lateral quickness and body control. That's tough on safeties and linebackers in coverage. Even with the past injuries, this had to be a pretty easy decision for Washington to reward Reed with a contract extension. He has the tape and production to back it up. And he's a key piece to the offense.

Chris Jones, the Chiefs' top draft pick, has agreed to contract terms, according to a source. Jones, a defensive lineman from Mississippi State, was the Chiefs' top draft pick . The Chiefs selected Jones in the second round.

The Seahawks and second-round pick Jarran Reed have agreed to terms on a contract, according to Reed's agent. The Seahawks traded up in the second round to draft Reed, and he's expected to compete for the starting nose tackle job immediately.
