The Raiders have announced the signings of receivers Robert Herron and Nathan Palmer as the team prepared for the first day of OTA workouts on Tuesday. Oakland also announced receiver Andre Debose was waived/injured and quarterback Garrett Gilbert was waived in corresponding roster moves. As such, the Raiders' offseason roster stands at the max of 90 players.

Cardinals OC Harold Goodwin has been "shocked" by how well Earl Watford has taken to center. "He's done well as far as ID'ing the front and making the calls and getting the ball up to Carson." Goodwin called Watford his "Swiss Army Knife" because Watford has been playing tackle, guard and center during OTAs.

NFL VP of Officiating Dean Blandino was in Arizona yesterday meeting with the Cardinals about rule changes. He specifically went over the new chop block rules, which OC Harold Goodwin said aren't much different than the old rules.

Titans left guard Byron Bell dislocated his ankle during the team's first OTA and will miss the entire 2016 season.

Mark Sanchez, who suffered a thumb injury to his non-throwing hand in the weight room earlier this month, was not expected to take part in this week's set of OTAs. But Sanchez was in uniform Tuesday and taking plenty of work with the starting offense. It is a little more evidence of how badly Sanchez wants to be the Broncos starter.

Falcons president Rich McKay said he's not worried about the possibility of a winter storm affecting the Atlanta Super Bowl bid this afternoon. "We're not going to address it much," McKay said.

Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin, who also coaches the offensive line, said Tuesday there are two open competitions on the offensive line: right tackle and center. Goodwin's comments weren't a surprise but it's also likely that D.J. Humphries retains the starting job at right tackle while A.Q. Shipley battles rookie Evan Boehm at center.
