The Redskins will undergo physicals today, which will help determine what rookie receiver Josh Doctson can do. I've heard different things on his possible availability and how much he might do early in camp. Doctson missed all of spring workouts with a tweaked Achilles.

Zac Stacy was projected to be out at least through Week 6, so decision to waive (injured) him now made sense for #Jets.

Gerald McCoy said he asked Bruce Smith the key to his longevity. "It's easier to stay in shape than it is to get in shape." You have to take care of your body year-round. Said the hardest part is diet. "I'm from the South. We like to use butter!"

Matt Forte, Erin Henderson decline to discuss Ryan Fitzpatrick situation. Hmm, sounds like a company line sent down from above.

If your NFL team had no real shot of winning Super Bowl, would you be ok if your team tanked for Clemson QB DeShaun Watson?

Gerald McCoy said Jameis Winston sought him out privately to talk about a change in his role as a leader. McCoy didn't disclose details, but said fans will notice. He's comfortable with it. Said this became Jameis' team after they beat the Saints.

Patriots OC Josh McDaniels on QB reps in practice: "This is really the time of the year where we really try to provide everyone with their foundation for the whole year, so our philosophy really is going to remain unchanged for a while here, in terms of repetitions. We usually split them up pretty evenly. We don't really put anybody in first and second groups, or third groups, at this point. What we really try to focus on is getting everybody opportunities to work on their fundamentals and techniques, and to work with the different players on our team because we don't know right now who's going to be doing what six, seven weeks from now. They're both going to get plenty of reps and so is Jacoby [Brissett]. We're going to do what we've normally done in the past and all those guys have things we can get better at, and we're excited to coach them all and to work with every one of them."

Carroll has no plans of slowing down

Adam Schefter examines the impact of Seattle signing GM John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll to extensions, as well as locking down QB Russell Wilson: "The nucleus of your franchise is set."

Jaguars WR Allen Robinson talks about one of the offense's priorities in 2016: Getting off to a fast start.

Mike Reiss ESPN New England Patriots reporter

Bill Belichick on the QB situation: "We had, finally, some definition with Tom's situation, so our priority now is to get Jimmy [Garoppolo] ready for the start of the season, for the Arizona game [Sept. 11]. That will be, obviously, a comprehensive process. Tom will return as the starting quarterback when he comes back, but in the meantime, we have to prioritize the first part of our schedule and that will be to get Jimmy ready to go."

Mike Reiss ESPN New England Patriots reporter

In his first remarks since Tom Brady's four-game suspension was upheld by the court, Bill Belichick said Brady will return as the starter in Week 5. At the same time, team's goal is to get Jimmy Garoppolo ready for the first four games.

From Peyton to Megatron, this year's All-Retirement team could give a lot of NFL squads a challenge:

Jenna Laine ESPN Staff Writer

Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans was asked what he learned after starting 6-6, then dropping four-straight games last year: "We needed [rookie linebacker] Kwon Alexander a lot. When he got suspended, we lost every game after that. He's a big piece."
