Jones said the Cowboys like their young pass rushers and want to see what they can do before potentially looking at veterans later this summer.

Filed to ESPN: Ameer Abdullah had shoulder surgery in January and is expected to be out the rest of spring workouts, according to a source. He should be cleared by the end of the month. He was the Lions' leading rusher last year. The surgery was first reported by the Detroit Free Press.
