When the Kings moved from Kansas City in 1985, they played at the original Arco Arena (also known as Sacramento Sports Arena) for three seasons. The current facility, which in October 2012 was renamed Sleep Train Arena from Power Balance Pavilion, opened at a cost of $40 million, the least expensive in the league. The floors in the seating area are made of hardwood, making the arena one of the loudest in the NBA -- as evidenced by the noise meter on the scoreboard.
Tickets not specified by the seller as Courtside may map to a less premium section.
Children 23 months of age and younger do not need to have a ticket to attend an ARCO Arena event.
The Arco Arena allows: no food, no beverages (including water), no video cameras. No smoking allowed; there are designated areas for patrons to smoke. For most events smoking areas are located outside the Southwest entrance at Section 105 and outside the Northwest entrance at Section 111. To bring in cameras you need permission by calling the arena; their allowance varies per event.
Will call may be picked up at the box-office window Nos. 10 or 11 beginning one hour prior to the event. In order to receive tickets customers must present: a photo ID, the credit card used to make the purchase and the confirmation number given at the time of purchase. In addition, once the will call window closes, unclaimed tickets will not be available. Also, tickets will be released only to the person whose name appears on the envelope (name given at time of purchase/on credit card). Family (including husband or wife), friends or business associates will not be given tickets designated for another person. No information will be given over the phone as to the status of will call tickets. Information regarding how many tickets were left and who left the tickets at will call will not be released. Tickets are not accepted for will call from patrons wishing to leave tickets for others. No C.O.D.s are accepted at will call. Will not change name at will call.
