St. John's wins Big East tile for 1st time since '88

Aaliyah Lewis had 14 points and eight rebounds and St. John's earned a 50-37 victory over Creighton on Tuesday night, to give the Red Storm their first Big East tournament title since 1988.

DePaul's Jenkins is Big East player of the year

The Big East named DePaul's Chanise Jenkins its player of the year and Doug Bruno its coach of the year, with Marquette's Allazia Blockton taking top freshman honors.

Duquesne upsets No. 25 St. John's women, 76-57

St. John's athletic director resigns

Chris Monasch, who had been with the school for 10 years, resigned today. The resignation is effective June 30 as Monasch leaves to "pursue new leadership opportunities."

Irish have won 7 of 11 vs. Huskies

It's not easy to knock off UConn. But if any team has experience doing that, it's Notre Dame. The Huskies have lost just 14 games over the last eight seasons with half of those defeats coming against the Fighting Irish.
